I shed a tear for the struggle my brothers and sisters face in Iraq….
I shed a tear for the innocent that is pierced with a bullet from an American soldier in Afghanistan…
I shed a tear for the homeless on the streets of America…
I shed a tear for AIDS, HIV, Cancer, and Sexually Transmitted Disease…
I shed a tear for all those who are lost in the worldy temptations…
I shed a tear for the sins I have swam in for far too long…
I shed a tear for the injustice of the so-called American Justice System…
Tonight I shed a tear…. And I don’t stop crying for those in Africa, who have been overlooked for so long. To my brothers and sisters in Humanity who live in Africa… regardless of faith… tonight I shed a tear for you, and I refuse to let the tears stop until the day that I see Africa united… I refuse to let the tears stop until I have fed the poor of Africa with my own hands… Until I have carried the burden of Africa of my own back… Until I have bled the blood of Africa from my own wounds… Until I have felt the pain of Africa in my heart… The tears will never stop… Africa, you will always be in my heart, in my soul, and part of me… Until the day I die, Africa you are my love…
