Online Friendship

Are you looking and searching the Internet in the hope of finding and meeting new people online? These days, searching, seeking and meeting new people online through friendship clubs to email is the easiest, fastest way of meeting new people, but you have to know where to look. Here are some guidelines to follow for meeting and making new friendships online:

Did you know that a high percentage of spam comes from friendship clubs asking you for your e-mail address online? Be careful when joining online clubs to meet people and freely giving out your email address. Try an anonymous service for finding people like NewFriends4U.com which does not reveal or sell your email address to any third party.

100% Free - As with most things they say 'you only get what you pay for', so if you see a site advertising a 100% free online friendship club should you be concerned? It is true that operating online friendship clubs costs a great deal of money and time, but now websites offering a free service are finding other ways to off-set these high costs by using advertising and it is the members that support these website costs when clicking displayed ads.

1) Firstly, if there is no advertising seen on the site, then it would be wise to ensure your email address in not being collected to sell to third parties for advertising use. (NewFriends4U.com will never disclose your email address to any third party)

2) If it's a free friendship club, without advertising, they may be quite new and looking to build their database of members. If their database numbers are small, to initially increase membership they offer their online service for free. The disadvantage would be a limited choice of you finding and making new friendships in your area.

If you could find what you are searching and looking for by meeting people online with a friendship club what ‘Value’ would you put on achieving your aim? The best way of looking at this would be to ask yourself what it would be worth to you if finding your perfect soul mate, a new best friend, the greatest sporting buddy you might ever meet or simply just great friendships… does this have a value to you? If not then you could find yourself continuing to remain alone!

Reality Shows And Children

Here was the girl, a teenager of 16 years on the stage. She was waiting for the comments of judges on her performance. First came judge number one and started a scathing attack on her performance. The child began crying. I thought that they will try to find out why she was crying and try to console her, pamper her and if needed send her home. Nothing like that happened. The child was alone crying on the stage and the second judge started criticizing her performance. The child was becoming hysterical and by that time the third judge was on her throat for giving a lousy performance.

The girl went home and next day went into coma. Not actual coma but something nearing that. After that the child was hospitalized and is trying to recover. I have seen the producer and the judges of the program defending themselves on the news channels. None of them has expressed any regret. They have been blaming the parents for sending a mentally unfit child to the program. This whole thing sounds sadistic. These people were getting some sadistic pleasure out of hammering a crying child. This was live on television in a civilized nation like India.

What do we call this? Should it not be called child abuse? What about the punishment to the producer and the judges? The child is suffering but they are happily going around giving interviews and defending their action. Why are all of us silently watching this and not demanding any action?

Bingo: Women-dominated Game

A study conducted on Whales proved that online bingo is more popular to women. Surprisingly, the women who play online bingo belong to a younger age bracket. An independent survey concludes that there are 51,000 women, less than 35 years of age, who play online bingo. These dispel the notion that bingo games are just for bespectacled grannies killing time. In addition, women who have been surveyed about online bingo said that they prefer the game over the gym. They would rather win jackpots that spend time sweating in the gymnasium. But it doesn’t stop there. Shopping, which is considered as a major pastime for women, seems to be gradually replaced by online bingo. According to the survey, 19 percent of women would choose playing online bingo on their PCs than going out for a shopping spree. Truly, online bingo has taken our women by storm.

But what is with bingo that women like so much? Is it the thrill of winning jackpots from the comfort of the home? Is it the bingo bonus or promotion? Online bingo operators offer a gamut of perks to their players to ensure customer loyalty and to maintain a steady flow of newbie’s trying their luck. Just last February, Bingo Gringo, a famous online bingo website, had given its player seven new Intel Pentium laptops. The laptops are complete with Dual Core Processor with 024MB DDR2 Memory, ATI Radeon(tm) Xpress and a 1250 Graphics Card. On their website, BingoGringo.com, the first laptop was given to the person who has the highest bets on the online games. The second was awarded to the person who purchased the most number of bingo tickets in the 90-ball games. One laptop even went to the person who lost the most money in playing online games. Now that’s an awesome consolation. If you are interested in taking up online bingo as a hobby, you can always start with websites that give you bingo sign up bonus. This kind of promotion let you get back a percentage of your initial deposit to use in playing online bingo.

Learn To Play Songs On Guitar

If you have never played a guitar, it is essential that you learn some fundamentals before you begin learning to play melodies. The first fundamental point is to learn how to properly hold the guitar. In your first musical lesson with any instructor, you would learn the same thing. What is important, before you can start playing songs, is that you hold the guitar in such a way that the sound is maximized and not hindered by an improper hold.

You’ll need to play the guitar either sitting down or standing up. If you begin with small audiences, you will have to learn to play standing up. But, for now, sitting down is the optimal way to learn, as novice players usually do not practice upright. When sitting down with the guitar, make sure that it rests comfortably and easily on your lap. Make sure your arms do not block the oval or circular hole on the head of the guitar. Additionally, make sure your arms encircle the instrument without holding it too tight. In other words, keep your body relaxed and the bulk of your arms from blocking the instrument’s sound potential.

Next, it is important to know basic hand and finger positioning. The left hand is generally used as the note or fret hand. This hand is used to hold the strings in such a manner that notes are strummed in a certain chord. The fingers and thumb work actively and succinctly. The wrist is bent upward in such a way that you are still able to grip the neck of the guitar with your thumb, but still have plenty of leeway to allow your fingers to move about freely and quickly. Eventually, with more practice and time, you will be able to hold a chord without much thought.

As you practice, make sure not to squeeze the strings against the fret too hard. If you can’t seem to get a chord to sound right, you might try adjusting your technique. Too many new guitar players think that they have to squeeze the strings against the frets in order to make the sound perfect. In actuality, it is better to hold the string snug against the fret with calloused fingers.Once you have these fundamentals down, you are ready to begin playing some basic chords. If you want to teach yourself quickly and accurately, you’ll have to start out slowly. However, some songs can be easy and quite fun to learn. A couple of these are Mary Had a Little Lamb and Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star. Furthermore, you’ll see that the guitar is not that difficult of an instrument to play.

How To Letter Your Cartoons

Firstly your letters should be very plain and simple. Compare them to the use of Arial or Helvetica typestyles in printing, or on the web. These two styles are among the most popular because of their plain, non fussy style, and are pretty easy to read in most sizes. So, avoid fancy flourishes and curlicues, and capital letters should be the rule rather than the exception.

You do not need much space between your letters in a balloon, but on the other hand do not crowd your letters and words. Make all your letters vertical, and avoid mixing slanting (italic) letters with vertical.

For the sake of neatness do not attempt to letter without first drawing some faint parallel guidelines, sketch the letters in lightly with pencil before inking. A good tip is to cut slots in the form of parallel guidelines out of a piece of thin card. A standard business card is ideal. Cut out two or three of these for letters of different heights. Use a pen whose point has become blunted with use for lettering. A new broad-nibbed pen may be used, but never a new fine pointed pen.

When you are lettering your cartoons, you should bear in mind that all drawings intended for publication, with rare exceptions, will be reduced in size before the printing process. Usually your drawing will be reduced by one half, although occasionally it will be a little more or less. So an original drawing of four by four inches will appear as a two by two inch drawing.

The smallest type generally in use in newspapers and magazines is six point type, that is six seventy-seconds of an inch in height. So you can see that in a half reduction scenario you should be drawing your letters no less than twelve point type in size, or twelve seventy-seconds of an inch. If the reduction is to be a bit less than a half then your letters should be drawn about an eighth of an inch high. Smaller type may be used sometimes , but it is always better to err on the side of safety and make your letters slightly too big, rather than too small.

If you cut the slots in your card to these guidelines you won't go far wrong. You will never be thought the worse of (quite the opposite in fact, it shows professionalism) if you ask the paper or magazine you wish to submit to what reduction they usually use. Finally don't forget that it is easier to sketch your words with pencil before inking. You can easily make changes which will not be noticeable, using a good quality eraser prior to inking.

The party venue service will also have contacts to many venues, and they will find you the best price possible for the venue that will fit your party needs. The service will allow you to view all the information on the expenditures of the company for the party and how the money is being spent.

Most party venue finding services will have on staff or know reputable party organizers that will take care of not only the needs of the guests, but the person or company that is throwing the party. It is important, especially for larger parties, that the on-site support staff be there at all times, so they can deal with any problems that may arise. If party venues are not booked by a service, then the only thing taken care of is the venue itself. But, as you can see, there are many other factors that need to be considered when throwing a party. The people, who are at the party, even the ones throwing it, are there to have a good time, and don't want to worry about every detail of the party. This is another reason why it is a good idea to use a party venue service.
